FAQs

Will I still be on the waiting list?

Yes. All our waiting lists have carried over, you will be in the same place on the waiting list to see your local specialists.

Do I need to contact someone else to get myself seen?

If you had already been referred to one of the services (CSIMS, SMSKPc, UHSx Physio) you do not need to contact anyone, we still have your referral. If you would like to refer yourself for a new problem please visit our self-referral page.

I have an appointment booked, will this still go ahead?

Yes. All appointments are carrying on as normal and have been carried over to the new service.

Will I still be seeing the same clinical specialists?

Yes. You will still be able to see the same clinician(s) as you were before. The high standards of care, expertise, and collaboration you’ve experienced will continue, the new service will make accessing and managing your MSK health easier and more effective.

Will I need to travel somewhere else for my appointments?

No. All our clinic locations are staying the same, so you can still be seen in your local area.

Will anything else change about my treatment?

For now, no. Most of the changes are behind the scenes other than the new name, this new website, and some new email addresses (see our contact us page). As the service evolves we’ll introduce new ways of working that have been tried and tested to enhance how we support you. These will enable more joined up care, better access to support, more personalised care tailored to you, and much more.

What ages do you treat?

We are an adults only service, so are able to see and treat patients who are 16+.
